There’s no Challenge opinions quite like the ones from former Challenge competitors. So what do former competitors say about the upcoming Dirty 30? Well, the wonderful Lexie Young (admin of the Challenge FB Group), interviewed bundles of former competitors, doing mini Q & A’s to get their opinion on the upcoming season. Questions were asked like: whether they’re watching, who is the dirtiest player, who would you be playing with, and whether they would do another Challenge?

Here we go:

Davis Mallory — RW Denver: 3 Challenges, Highest Finish: Last male eliminated on the Inferno 3. Last appearance: Rivals 1

Most remember him for being the gay kid who got punched out by CT on the Inferno 3. However, Davis was a bit underrated, he did solidly on the Inferno 3 and Duel 2. He was dealt a bad hand by being partnered with Tyrie on Rivals 1. What did he have to say about the upcoming season?

Davis states that he will not be watching this season as he does not have cable or television as he is too busy these days. He might catch an episode to see who is on. His favorite rookie is Chris Ammo, and thinks he could do another Challenge one day. His music is his main focus these days.

Robb Schreiber — Real World St. Thomas: 2 Challenges, Highest Finish: 5th Place Battle of the Seasons, Last appearance: Rivals 2

Robb was known for being one of the tallest guys in the history of the show. At a whopping 6'6, it was always wonder why MTV did not cast him more. On Rivals 2, he had a great performance with Derek, but they lost in Snapper, a game of no athleticism. In recent years, Robb has bulked up a ton. He has some hidden gem moments and quotes on Rivals 2.

Robb believes he will be too busy to watch television this year, aside from his 76ers. He wasn’t sure who the “dirtiest” player is, so the be a “facetious asshole”, he chose Marie! His squad for this season would have been Marie and LaToya for obvious reasons, he holds much love for Aneesa as a fellow Philadelphian, has always admired Derrick K, and would love to play with Shane with the intent of making his brother Tony lose. Robb thinks all the AYTO kids are a waste, and does not know the rookies, but likes the name “Ammo”, even if it is ironic. He is completely open to doing another Challenge as he feels he is on a higher physical level than most of the guys on the show!

Jasmine Reynaud — Real World Cancun: 5 Challenges, Highest Finish: 4th Place Rivals 1, Last appearance: Free Agents

When she entered the Challenge, Jasmine would not try to be cocky, instead she was busy getting drunk and fighting people. Famously fought with Camila for calling her Jonna, then had the feuds with her own partner on Exes 1. Jasmine was interesting during her time on the Challenge.

Jasmine says she will absolutely be watching the Challenge Dirty 30! In her mind the dirtiest player is easily Johnny Bananas. If she could have a squad this season, she’d want legendary guys like Darrell and Derrick K, a physical beast like Cara Maria, and her old drinking buddy with the mad Twitter fingers, Jemmye. She doesn’t know any of the rookies, but she will be rooting for them more than anyone as she remembers how tough it was to be a rookie in the Challenge house. Jasmine says she’s done with the Challenges considering she is pregnant with her second child, and has a wedding coming up. Happy to see the former firecracker growing up and having a family!

Trey Weatherholtz — Real World St. Thomas: 2 Challenges, Highest Finish: 6th place, Last appearance: Rivals 2

Another guy from St. Thomas! Trey is most known for being partnered with Zach on Rivals 2. During their season, they won the first two daily missions and finished second in the next two. A bad slip up led to them being in elimination, and Zach cheating cost them the game. He was an alternate on Free Agents, and hasn’t gotten to compete since.

For Trey, he usually does not like watching seasons that he is not on. He says that he expects to watch clips as they will come his way thru being part of the Challenge universe. His response to who is the dirtiest player was John D. Trey says there’s a ton of people on this cast who he supports as they are his friends. He does not know any of the rookies. Trey would like to do another Challenge, however, he’s accepted the availability every time that he’s gotten one, and it’s been four years since has done one. It’s up to MTV at this point.

Jay Mitchell — Real World Explosion: 1 Challenge, Highest Finish: 3rd Place Exes 2, Last appearance: Exes 2

It’s been a while since we have seen Jay on an MTV related show after his embarrassing finish on Exes 2. He was last seen on the reunion for Exes 2, and has since done the web reality series called Sequestered, and followed it up with an appearance on Sequestered All Stars.

He says that he will not be watching the Challenge Dirty 30. Jay called Bananas the dirtiest player, and while he has friends, none of them on the cast he sees as a possible squad. It is his belief that Tori and Ammo will have the biggest effect as rookies on the cast and show. Jays says that he might do another Challenge if time permits. He also revealed that he accepted the availability call, got the official call, and had to back out due to work.

Brandon Nelson — Fresh Meat 2: 5 Challenges, Highest Finish: fourth to last eliminated on Cutthroat, Last appearance: Free Agents

The man known as the Gulag gangster (okay, I made that up right now). Brandon is a chill dude who is incredibly grateful for everything that is the Challenge. He loves the vacation, the competition, the traveling, and the swag bags of clothes that you get. Brandon was last seen on Free Agents.

Brandon will be watching the premiere of Dirty 30 to support LeRoy. He thinks he might not make it through the whole season as he gets petty about not being on when watching. For dirtiest player, he claims Camila is actually the dirtiest, with Johnny being second. His squad would be LeRoy, Darrell, Cara Maria, and LaToya. He’s not aware of any of the rookies. When asked if he would do another Challenge, he said that he would absolutely do another.

Derek Chavez — Real World Cancun: 3 Challenges, Highest Finish: 4th Place Battle of the Seasons, Last appearance: Rivals 2

A bit of an underrated competitor, Derek Chavez showed out a bit on Rivals 2 during the Hall Pass elimination, and made it to the end of Battle of the Seasons, losing right before the final.

He will definitely be watching the Challenge Dirty 30 as he loves to see what they come up with for the Challenges. According to Derek, Bananas is the dirtiest player for what he did to Sarah. Derek says he is fully supporting LeRoy and Aneesa so they can finally get the win they deserve. He would also want to play with Derrick as he is simply a beast. He’d also like to play with Marie or Jenna, and not a tired character like Cara Maria or Camila, who we have seen over and over again. He’s not super anti AYTO, but he’s supporting team RW/RR. He says Tori or Britni have better chances as rookies, considering how stacked the male. Derrick revealed that he accepted the call for Exes 2 and Rivals 3, but they were unable to get him a partner. For Bloodlines, he and his cousin did not get the final call, and was not called for Invasion. However, he’d 100% do another Challenge as he loves to compete.

Adam Kuhn — AYTO Season 1: 1 Challenge, Highest Finish: 9th place, Last appearance: Exes 2

Adam was part of the first group of AYTO cast members to make their jump to the Challenge. He was brought down by his dead-weight partner and saw 3 eliminations where they won, mostly due to Adam. A close step away from four wins his rookie season.

He will not be watching the Challenge Dirty 30, and believes Bananas is easily the dirtiest player. He does not care for whoever wins this season. Adam does believe that Tori will rock the game by being a physical and athletic beast. Adam firmly feels that if he did another Challenge that he would finish first or second as many males cannot stack up with him.

Tori Hall — Road Rules Viewers Revenge: 3 Challenges, Highest Finish: Won Cutthroat and the Gauntlet 3, Last appearance: Cutthroat

The two time Challenge champion actually has won more Challenges than her ex husband, Brad Fiorenza. Tori is an underrated competitor, and she is fine with that as it has ended with her winning twice, and finishing 5th the other time.

She plans on watching the Challenge Dirty, just not live as it will be too late for her. Tori is confounded by the question of who the dirtiest player is, as it is obviously Bananas. Her favorite girls on the cast are Marie and Jenna as they keep it real, loves Derrick K and CT as the old school dad. She’s rooting for Tori due to namesake. Tori said she will not be doing another Challenge. Recently she missed the competition, but knows she couldn’t deal with leaving her two children for that long!
