Let’s start off with the hook:

Do you want to Fantasy Draft your own Challenge 40 squad and potentially win a prize? Keep reading or scroll down to the next bolded section like this one.

Hey everyone, so if you didn’t know, I have a podcast where I recap and talk about The Challenge — it’s called Caffeine Confessionals. I was joined by my co-hosts (Luke and Zoe) and brought on noted Rotten Bananas Challenge podcaster Ali Evans to preview the Season 40 cast… To do so… we decided to do a Fantasy Draft. The YouTube Link/Video is right above this paragraph.

We split the draft up into two parts — the Women’s Cast and the Men’s Cast. We each drafted 5 Players Total in a Snake Format, with the basic rule being that you have to take at least one player from all four of the Eras.

Now, we did not draft based on who is going to win or go the farthest because that’s boring, especially with spoilers in the air. Instead, we will have an ongoing scoring total based on multiple categories and give random points and deductions if there are notable moments.

We have 5 Official Categories:

Messy Entertainment: Are you getting into fights or arguments? Are you in a showmance? Are you lying for no reason? Did you go on Dr. Phil at any point?

Physical Performance: Daily Challenge & Elimination Wins. Plain and simple.

On-Screen Presence: This one is based on the player confessional count, both the average and total confessions. The average means you could get a ton of points from someone who gets knocked out early. We will also give out bonus points for players with the best confessional looks and deductions for those with exceptionally bad ones.

Storylines & Engagement: This category focuses on whether or not a player has ongoing storylines in the season, including whether or not they’re still affecting the game even after being eliminated. We are also accounting for social media engagement to determine whether or not cast members are adding fuel to the storyline flame via social media or engaging with fans.

Don’t Be Wallpaper: This is a pure punishment category. If you have a player who is not doing anything other than existing, your team will get deducted points.

It’s going to be somewhat arbitrary, essentially, this is a Hogwarts House Cup Challenge Fantasy Draft, where I’m Dumbledore just throwing points around. Now, if you want to participate alongside us…

GO TO THE YOUTUBE PAGE AND COMMENT YOUR OWN TEAM OF FIVE WOMEN. YOU HAVE MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 WOMAN FROM EACH ERA.

After you comment, I will add you to a Live Google Spreadsheet that I will be updating and scoring weekly. At the end of the season, I will be giving out a $50 Amazon Gift Card for 1st Place in the Women’s Draft & The Men’s Draft. As well a $15 Amazon Gift Card for 2nd Place. If there are any ties, there will be a tiebreaking procedure.

This is mostly a fun giveaway, so don’t get mad if you don’t win. We’re trying to build a fantasy format that doesn’t give peoople who know spoilers a major advantage.

SO IF YOU WANT TO POTENTIALLY WIN A $50 AMAZON GIFT FOR JUST BEING A CHALLENGE FAN…

To be eligible, comment with your team and subscribe to the YouTube Channel/Podcast. Since it’s a giveaway from our YouTube Channel, I feel like asking you to subscribe is the bare minimum. Also, hopefully you just enjoy our podcast, because we have fun doing it.
