We started with sixteen seasons and are now down to only four.

Our final four seasons are Cutthroat, The Duel 1, Free Agents, and Fresh Meat.

Why vote for each season:

CUTTHROAT

Easily the greatest team season in Challenge history. There’s a reason it is the last remaining big team season on the board. The decision to split the house into three teams resulted in a fair and diverse competition for money and allowed for players to make a name for themselves in the Gulag. More than anything, no season has had fans clamor for a sequel more than Cutthroat. Whenever a new season happens and the theme is unclear, fans desperately want it to be Cutthroat 2. The biggest highlights of the season were the Abram/Cara relationship, the Abram/Cara feud with Laurel, Brandon’s Gulag conquests, Derrick’s riot shield battle, and of course the BACKPACK moment.

THE DUEL 1

The first individual based season of the Challenge. Similar to Cutthroat, everyone wants the Duel to be the format every season. It is the purest form of competition and allows the show to be all about the eliminations and challenges. The Duel is the most sport like format of the Challenge. The original Duel had a stacked male cast where nine of the ten players would go on to become Challenge Champions. The biggest highlights of the season were Wes’s snaking of Evan, CT’s Disqualification, Tina punching Beth, Wes and Derrick’s pole wrestle, and CT kissing Diem by the water.

FREE AGENTS

Another individual format! Free Agents was a shake-up from the previous four seasons which were based on Rivals/Exes/Real World seasons. Free Agents was a format which brought back names from the past like Cohutta, Isaac, and Laurel. This was another season where the male cast was absolutely stacked. The Kill Card allowed players like Leroy to let fate decide their game. It also forced Cara Maria to make a name for herself as an individual where she won three eliminations before losing at final five with a broken hand. The biggest highlights of the season were Jordan flipping all the kill cards, Zach dying during the final, Cohutta in general, Cara and Laurel friendship/rivalry, and Johnny’s overall win.

FRESH MEAT 1

The first truly modern season of the Challenge. It was not until Fresh Meat 1 where the normal elimination format was put into a paired/individual season. This season was a joy due to the stacked veteran cast and the fun fresh meat who went on to have a massive impact on the franchise. We saw how the politics of the game evolved when Derrick/Diem threw their alliance with Darrell/Aviv and Theo/Chanda under the bus in order to give themselves a better chance to win. The biggest highlights of the season were Wes winning five exiles, Coral and Evan’s presence, Diem’s storyline, Darrell becoming a 4x Champion, and Casey getting new boobs at the Reunion.
