Yesterday, we got to look at 10 guys you’d definitely want as Challenge partners, here are 10 guys you don’t want as Challenge partners.

10. Young Wes (RW Austin)

If you remember the days of Fresh Meat, Wes was the dumb kid from Austin with the Mohawk destroying exile after exile on his way to the final of his rookie season. You may also remember his constant verbal assaulting of Casey Cooper. He called her a “stupid bitch” and worthless, among other things. Even if you’re winning, that’s no way to speak to a partner, let alone an 18-year-old girl.

9. Eric Banks aka Big Easy (Fresh Meat 1)

Being paired with Big Easy is almost a death sentence. He is too big to succeed in most challenges. In a pair, it is tough to compete with someone so much larger. He’s here for a good time, not a long time.

8. Tony Raines & Cory Wharton(RW Skeletons, RW Explosion)

Good looking guys and great partners if you want to get between the sheets with them. Aesthetically, they are top tier partners.

Competition scholarly, Cory is one never to blame himself for any shortcomings. During the final for Invasion, he had the hot take that it was his partner’s fault why he got 3rd place in every portion of the final. Cory never considered that he might be the issue. He’s dumb; he has no endurance, is not a strong swimmer, and is only marginally stronger than other male competitors.

The problem with Tony is that there’s a good chance you’re going home early, he’s never made it halfway through a Challenge, and you might be going home for non-Challenge related reasons.

Update: Tony has done much better since the Summer of 2017.

7. Nate Siebenmark (AYTO S2)

Hilariously, he beat Cory in elimination, so maybe Cory should be lower than him.

Nate is a loser; he gives up if the game is not going his way. It usually does not go his way because he doesn’t train or make himself ready for it. On both AYTO Second Chances and the Challenge, Nate has quit on the game, and not even attempted challenges. He wouldn’t jump out of the airplane on Rivals 3!!!

In terms of mental stability, he’s also the guy you want least as your teammate, as he cries at least 2–3 episodes a season, and is bankable for one massive breakdown.

6. Jay G Mitchell (RW Explosion)

The second member of the Real World Explosion to make this list. Congrats, Thomas! You did not make it onto the list! Jay is here for obvious reasons. He’s a loser, he cheats on women, and overall, he is one of the worst personalities to come from Real World. Jay’s worst quality is his emaciated ego. He also quit a final before hitting the halfway point.

5. Zach Nichols (RW San Diego 2)

Thor is a great physical competitor, someone who at first look I would be excited to have as a teammate. Instead, he’s gotten unraveled every season he has a partner. He mentally broke down during Rivals 2, and would bad talk his teammate, Trey, daily during interviews.

His worst look was his treatment of Jonna. He had for all intents and purposes, a good partner. No, she wasn’t Theresa, Sarah, or Nany, but Jonna is a highly competent female Challenge competitor. Zach treated her as if she was the worst female competitor in the game, he verbally abused her during most missions, to the point where she lost confidence in herself. Jonna is a sweetheart, to watch him destroy his teammate who just wanted to make him proud, who just wanted to win, kills me on the inside.

4. Dunbar Merrill (RW Sydney)

Possibly one of the biggest flops in Challenge history. Dunbar is a lousy partner, he is not good at competitions, has little fun when he comes on these Challenges, is a constant complainer, and the biggest fear is his anger issues. He has gone to anger management in the past, but Dunbar’s anger issues have flared up in the past.

3. Tyrie Ballard (RW Denver)

If your name gets called out after Tyrie’s when TJ is revealing the pairs for the season, the first thing you need to do is call your family and employer. Call your boss to inform them that you’re not using vacation time, only a few sick days, and you’ll be back at the office on Monday. You tell your family to have someone at the airport to take you back home.

Tyrie has one of the worst records in Challenge history, going 0–4 in eliminations, never making it halfway in 6 seasons, and being a detriment to his team. He’s been the first eliminated on Inferno 3, Rivals 1, and Rivals 2. By his final Challenge, Tyrie was falling asleep on the toilet during night one. Not a good look for a grown man.

2. Danny Jamieson (RW Austin)

The white version of Tyrie, except he thinks he is God’s gift to Earth, a possible steroid user, and has none of the comedic value of Tyrie. Danny got gifted with natural good looks, and a smoking hot girlfriend turned wife in Melinda. He could not keep it all together; he was an angry guy who would blow up when jealous and not in power. The problem with that is he had no skill; he never won challenges and held a 0–6 elimination record.

1 Vinny Foti (Fresh Meat 2)

The original terrible Vinny. In three seasons of the Challenge, Vinny has never made it to episode 4. He is a top tier idiot. On the Fresh Meat 2 tryouts, he was utterly unable to do the puzzle. He couldn’t solve a Sudoku type puzzle. Vinny thought all the numbers needed to be in the same column.

During Cutthroat, he lost to Big Easy. BIG EASY. He lost to the guy who kills his team every season. Vinny was so pissed after saying he would have kicked his ass. Except there’s a major problem, he lost!

Exes 1 was his worst look, he came in fat, did decently in two missions, and then got his team removed from the game by (sexually assaulting?) Mandi in a club. He removed her top, revealing her breasts in a public setting. He showed no remorse for his actions. Wes questioned him what he would do if someone did that to his girlfriend or mother, with him responding that he’d do nothing, being unapologetic, and overall his true self as a terrible guy. After being thrown out of the game, he never even apologizes to Sarah for getting her eliminated too. Schmuck.
